Erling Braut Haaland is a Norwegian professional footballer who plays as a striker for German Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund and the Norway national team.

Born: 21 July 2000 (age 20 years), Leeds, United Kingdom

Nationality: Norwegian

Height: 1.94 m

Weight: 88 kg

Haaland started his career at his hometown club Bryne in 2016, and moved to Molde the next year where he spent two years, before signing with Austrian club Red Bull Salzburg in January 2019. With Salzburg, he won the Austrian Bundesliga and Austrian Cup.

In the 2019–20 UEFA Champions League, he became the first teenager to score in five consecutive UEFA Champions League matches. In December 2019, Haaland completed a transfer to Borussia Dortmund for a fee reported to be in the region of €20 million. He carried on his goal-scoring success in the 2019–20 Champions League campaign, becoming the second teenager to score 10 goals in the competition.

Although eligible to play for the England national team, Haaland chose Norway. After the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup, in which he won the Golden Boot where he scored nine goals in a match, another record, Haaland made his debut for the Norway senior team in September 2019.

Haaland is the son of the Norwegian former Nottingham Forest, Leeds United and Manchester City defender Alf-Inge Håland, and of the former women's heptathlon athlete Gry Marita Braut. He was born in Leeds and supports Leeds United. In February 2017, in an interview with Norwegian newspaper Aftenposten, Haaland stated that "The dream is to win the Premier League with Leeds." He moved to Bryne in Norway with his family at the age of three.

Recognised for his explosive acceleration and pace, athleticism, strength and precise off the ball movement, Haaland's runs in behind defenders often see him in ideal positions to score. Haaland is also quick to recognise when an opponent is preoccupied or caught ball watching, leading him to pounce when a gap opens between defenders to offer a great option for his teammates. During his short career, Haaland has established himself as a versatile goalscorer, with him being able to score through powerful long-range shots, well-placed finishes, composed finishes during a one-on-one with goal keepers, headers, and dinks.

A team player, Haaland is also an instinctive and quick reader of the play, which contributes to his quick leaps to go with his large body frame in helping him win second balls or flick long passes onto runners in behind. During his time at Dortmund, his strategic pinning and drawing of markers away from space for others to use has provided players like Jadon Sancho, Achraf Hakimi and Thorgan Hazard with space to run into to either assist or score goals. When Haaland drops deep to link play, he also acts as a good reference point through using his strength to protect the ball to hold off his opponent.

He was compared to Cristiano Ronaldo by former Ajax defender Danny Blind, who praised him for his ability to score with either foot and headers, along with making "astonishing" sprints. A versatile forward, Mané is a prolific goalscorer, whose main traits are his finishing, speed, technique, and trickery in possession, as well as his decision-making, tactical awareness, creativity, agility, balance, control, touch on the ball, and dribbling skills. He has drawn praise in the media for his intelligent play, passing, and his ability to get into good positions, from which he can score goals or create chances for teammates. In 2017, he signed for league rivals Paris Saint-Germain on an initial loan, which was made permanent in 2018 in a transfer worth €180 million, making him both the second-most expensive player and most expensive teenager ever. With PSG, Mbappé has won three Ligue 1 titles, two Coupe de France titles, has finished as Ligue 1 top scorer twice, won Ligue 1 Player of the Year, and is the seventh-highest goalscorer in the club's history.

At international level, Mbappé made his senior debut for France in 2017, at age 18. He finished as the joint second-highest goalscorer as France won the tournament, and he received the Best Young Player and French Player of the Year awards for his performances.

Mbappé has stated that he is a believer and practitioner of the Christian faith but that he is not someone who shows it when celebrating because it is personal.

In a 2018 interview with Time, Mbappé spoke about the sacrifices he made as a teenager to focus on his football development: "I did not have the moments of so-called normal people during adolescence, like going out with friends, enjoying good times." But despite missing out on a "normal" life, Mbappé states he is "living the life he always dreamed of". Mbappé was called up to the senior France squad for the first time to face Luxembourg and Spain in March 2017. He made his debut on 25 March against the former side, coming on for Dimitri Payet in the 78th minute of a 3–1 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification away win. Pope Francis

Pope Francis is the head of the Catholic Church and sovereign of the Vatican City State. Francis is the first Jesuit pope, the first from the Americas, the first from the Southern Hemisphere, and the first pope from outside Europe since the Syrian Gregory III, who reigned in the 8th century.

Born: 17 December 1936 (age 83 years), Flores, Buenos Aires, Argentina

Full name: Jorge Mario Bergoglio

Nationality: Argentine

Education: Milltown Institute of Theology and Philosophy (1980–1980), Colegio Máximo de San José(1967–1970), Wilfrid Barón de los Santos Ángeles, Escuela Nacional de Educación Técnica N° 27 Hipólito Yrigoyen, Sankt Georgen Graduate School of Philosophy and Theology, Inmaculada Concepción Seminary

Siblings: María Elena Bergoglio, Marta Regina Bergoglio, Oscar Adrian Bergoglio, Alberto Bergoglio

Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Bergoglio was ordained a Catholic priest in 1969, and from 1973 to 1979 was Argentina's provincial superior of the Society of Jesus (Jesuits). He became the archbishop of Buenos Aires in 1998 and was created a cardinal in 2001 by Pope John Paul II. He led the Argentine Church during the December 2001 riots in Argentina. The administrations of Néstor Kirchner and Cristina Fernández de Kirchner considered him a political rival. Following the resignation of Pope Benedict XVI on 28 February 2013, a papal conclave elected Bergoglio as his successor on 13 March. He chose Francis as his papal name in honor of Saint Francis of Assisi.

Throughout his public life, Pope Francis has been noted for his humility, emphasis on God's mercy, international visibility as pope, concern for the poor and commitment to interfaith dialogue. He is credited with having a less formal approach to the papacy than his predecessors, for instance choosing to reside in the Domus Sanctae Marthae guesthouse rather than in the papal apartments of the Apostolic Palace used by previous popes. He maintains that the Church should be more open and welcoming. He does not support unbridled capitalism or Marxism. Francis maintains the traditional views of the Church regarding abortion, marriage, ordination of women, and clerical celibacy. He opposes consumerism and overdevelopment, and supports taking action on climate change, a focus of his papacy with the promulgation of Laudato si'. In international diplomacy, he helped to temporarily restore full diplomatic relations between the United States and Cuba and supported the cause of refugees during the European and Central American migrant crises. Since 2018, he has been a vocal opponent of neo-nationalism. Francis has faced open criticism from theological conservatives on many questions, including the admission of civilly divorced and remarried Catholics to Communion with the publication of Amoris laetitia. He responded to the Church's alleged cover-up of sexual abuse by clergy with his motu proprio Vos estis lux mundi.

The film shifts to Shakuntala Devi's childhood in Bangalore in the 1930s, where her family discovers her incredible talent for quickly solving complex mathematical problems in her head. Her father, Bishaw (Prakash Belawadi), decides to use Shakuntala's talent and have her do "math shows," where she would entertain people with her problem solving prowess. Shakuntala continues to do math shows and earn for the family as she grows up, but blames her father for not letting her live a normal childhood. She also blames her mother for not standing up to him, especially in the wake of her sister's death. In 1954, she leaves for London after a violent altercation with her boyfriend, Dhiraj (Neil Bhoopalam), after she learns that he had been pretending to love her even though he had a marriage fixed and even the invites printed out.

In London, Shakuntala lives with Tarabai (Sheeba Chaddha) in her home with three other Indian men, but struggles to find opportunities for her shows. But, she eventually manages to impress Javier (Luca Calvani), a Spanish mathematician when she shows off her skills at the Royal Mathematical Society in London. He helps improve Shakuntala's English and helps her get shows, and the pair begin a relationship as well. Shakuntala's popularity rapidly grows, and is given the nickname "The Human Computer" after she proves a computer wrong on a TV show. She expands her global influence by performing in other countries, and becomes a worldwide celebrity. Amidst all of this, Javier ends his relationship with Shakuntala, stating that he needs to return to Spain.

In 1968, Shakuntala meets Paritosh Banerji (Jisshu Sengupta) in Bombay, and the two quickly fall in love. The couple eventually get married and settle in Calcutta, with the aspirations of starting a family. In 1970, Shakuntala gives birth to Anupama, nicknamed Anu, and devotes her life to being a mother. However, she realizes how much she misses doing shows and decides to resume her career, leaving Anu with Paritosh. Shakuntala continues to amaze people, and even makes it into The Guinness Book of Records, but she worries about being an uncaring mother. Ultimately, she decides to take Anu with her on her travels, much to Paritosh's dismay. They soon divorce.

While growing up, Anu travels around the world with her mother. As Shakuntala is constantly exploring new career avenues, Anu finds herself constantly ignored and disenchanted with her life. Even after enrolling Anu in a boarding school, Shakuntala uses every opportunity she can to have Anu accompany her. This reaches a breaking point when a teenage Anu lashes out at her mother for building her career at the expense of her childhood. In response, Shakuntala takes a break and settles with Anu in London, even supporting her business aspirations. This helps the two become close. Their relationship sours again when an adult Anu decides to marry Ajay (Amit Sadh), a businessman. Shakuntala informs Ajay of her expectation of him moving with them to London, despite him being settled in Bangalore. Anu accuses her mother of constantly holding her back and not letting her live her own life. Shakuntala, unwilling to let her daughter go, threatens to shut down Anu's business. Anu cuts off all contact with Shakuntala, and marries Ajay. She decides to not have children, fearing that she won't be a good mother. Despite this, Anu gives birth to a daughter, Amritha.

Anu and Ajay receive a shock when they are informed that Shakuntala used her power of attorney to sell Anu's business properties, while giving her zero percent of the profit share. Furthermore, she passed the payment of the capital gains tax on to Anu, leaving her family in massive debt. Anu and Ajay decide to take legal action against Shakuntala, and travel to London for the proceedings. Upon their arrival, they discover that Shakuntala's actions were a stunt, done so she could force her daughter to come see her. Shakuntala gives Anu the profit received from the sale of her properties, and asks for her forgiveness. Anu forgives her mother, and the two have an emotional reunion.

Parmita Uniyal from Hindustan Times praised the content and Khan for "step[ing] in to do what journalists are supposed to do – make a difference. The show is a classic example of that."
